Delightful bites that encapsulate the essence of apple pie, made easily in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Flatten a piece of biscuit dough into a round disc.
  4. Add a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of the flattened dough.
  5. Fold the dough over the apple filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Place the apple-filled bombs in the basket and spray the tops with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days or frozen for about a month.
