Delicious grilled chicken skewers marinated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 810 skewers

Instructions

  1. Combine the Marinade: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the Skewers: Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Rest and Serve: Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot.

Notes

For more flavor, try marinating the chicken overnight. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
