  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill or bake the salmon for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Try to use wild-caught salmon for richer flavor. Marinate longer for deeper taste, but avoid over-marinating to prevent mushiness.
