A delightful meal featuring ground chicken wrapped in fresh lettuce, perfect for fun dining and packed with flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Lettuce leaves (such as butter or iceberg)
  • Chopped peanuts (for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in red bell pepper and water chestnuts; cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil; mix well and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce leaves, garnished with chopped peanuts and green onions.
