Tilapia Cream Sauce

An elegant and creamy sauce wraps tender tilapia fillets in velvety goodness, perfect for both weekday dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces tilapia fillet
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat tilapia fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add tilapia fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits, and simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return tilapia to the skillet and spoon the cream sauce over the fillets, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat on low heat with a splash of chicken broth.
