  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Additional sugar for frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  5. Mix the flour mixture alternately with the whole milk until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool the cake completely in the pan.
  8. Prepare the milk mixture by whisking together the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream.
  9. Soak the cake by poking holes and pouring the milk mixture over the top.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Whip additional cream with sugar until soft peaks form, then spread over the chilled cake.
  12. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
