Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter and cook the seasoned steak for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining butter to the same skillet, and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Next, add the beef broth to the pan, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the pasta, cooking according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, then return the steak to the skillet. Add red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese, mixing everything until well combined.
  6. Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
