Delight in these Vegan Sticky Buns that blend soft, pillowy dough with a sweet cinnamon-sugar swirl and rich caramel glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish to prepare for your delicious buns.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, ensuring everything is well blended.
  3. In another bowl, gently melt the coconut oil. Once melted, combine it with the almond milk and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Next, combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a cohesive dough. Don’t overmix; just blend until everything is combined!
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle. Take your time to get it nice and even!
  6. Spread the melted vegan butter over the rolled dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and ground cinnamon generously on top, creating an irresistible filling.
  7. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log. Once rolled, slice into 1-inch pieces and arrange them in your prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the aroma fills your kitchen.
  9. Let the sticky buns cool slightly in the pan. Serve them warm for that soft, gooey texture that will make every bite unforgettable!
