A flavorful, plant-based alternative to traditional deli meats, perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or salads.

  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and crumble it into a bowl.
  2. Mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. Combine the tofu and the marinade, ensuring the tofu is well coated.
  4. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated tofu for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  6. Allow to cool and serve in sandwiches or wraps.

Notes

Store leftover tofu deli meat in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
