A quick and easy recipe for creamy, tangy vegan sour cream made with silken tofu.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor: silken tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting the blending time for desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more salt or lemon juice if desired.
  4. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
