1 lb steak (flank or sirloin), thinly sliced
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 cup beef broth
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup honey BBQ sauce
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Season steak with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Combine beef broth and honey BBQ sauce in the same skillet. Simmer over medium heat, adding onion and garlic powder.
Add fettuccine to the simmering sauce and cook according to the package instructions.
Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
Return steak to the skillet, tossing to coat pasta in the sauce.
Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
This dish pairs well with a crisp arugula salad and red wine. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
